Google will release 3rd Android 11 developer preview in May 2020

Google will release 3rd Android 11 developer preview in May 2020. According to Google , the first beta version of Android 11 is due to be released in May 2020, and platform stability should be achieved in June. Google has released a new developer preview of Android 11. The third pre-release now brings some new features that could make it easier for programmers. The Exit Reasons API, for example, can be used to get details after an app suddenly quits. In the third preview version, Google updated the API based on user suggestions. The new ADB incremental mode should speed up the transfer of files via ADB (Android Debug Bridge). The installation of very large APK files via ADB can sometimes take a long time and thus reduce productivity.  Thanks to ADB Incremental, the transfer of files with more than 2 GB should be up to ten times faster. Apple iPhone 12 look similar to the iPad Pro 2020

The iPhone 12 Pro should have a metal frame like the iPad Pro, plus a lidar.

Apple is preparing to redesign the iPhone to be more similar to the iPad Pro and to have a similar all-round metal frame. There has been something like this on the iPhone 4 and 5. Mark Gurman of the Bloomberg business intelligence service, usually well-informed, reports on the plans .

In addition to the iPhone 12 Pro and the larger iPhone 12 Pro Max, two more simply equipped models are also to be launched. Bloomberg reports that they should be equipped with 5G modems. Based on the design of the iPhone 4 and 5, the new smartphones will no longer have beveled edges, Bloomberg writes and refers to inside information.

As before, three camera modules should be attached to the rear of the Pro models, the simpler models will continue to have only two cameras according to the report. The lidar system from the current iPad Pro is also to be installed in the Pro models.

The notch is to be reduced in the Pro models, whereby the Max model should be slightly larger than the iPhone Pro Max with its 6.5 inch screen diagonal. That would also allow a direct differentiation to a possible iPhone 12 Max. Due to the interruptions in research and development, as well as in manufacturing, the new iPhones should come onto the market later than usual, although still in autumn 2020.

In addition, according to the report, Apple is said to have developed a more compact and cheaper version of its smart speaker Homepod, which is expected to be launched in 2020. This also applies to the Apple Tags - small electronic tags that are used to find keys, wallets or similar small parts via iPhone.
